Required Vaccinations For the safety of all our guests, Dog's Life Country Kennel requires proof of current vaccinations for the following: DHLPP (Distemper Combo) Rabies Bordetella (recommended every 6 months) We also highly recommend a yearly influenza vaccination for your dog, although it is not required. We need to approve of anything that would need to be done that is an extra step for our staff. This includes: Walking your dog every bathroom break Medication outside of our operating hours Timed Medication These actions, if approved, could result in an additional daily fee.

While we respect the individual choice of pet owners regarding spaying and neutering, we have established a specific policy concerning intact (un-neutered) male dogs who are nine months of age or older. This policy is designed to ensure the utmost safety, comfort, and positive experience for all of our guests. Safety and Segregation: For the safety of all dogs and to mitigate any potential behavioral issues such as mounting, territorial marking, or hormone-driven reactions that can sometimes occur in a group setting with intact males, these guests will be kept separate from the main, mixed-gender, regular play groups. Our priority is a harmonious and safe environment for everyone. Exercise and Enjoyment: We want to assure owners that this necessary separation does not mean a compromise on fun, exercise, or socialization. Intact males will still receive plenty of opportunity for rigorous exercise, mental stimulation, and enjoyment. Their playtime will take place in one of our securely fenced, private, and supervised yards. This allows for dedicated, one-on-one attention from our staff and a personalized play experience, ensuring they get all the fun and activity they need while maintaining a controlled environment away from the co-ed groups.

We highly recommend that you find alternate care if your dog is in heat and you are trying to board your dog with us. When a female dog is in heat, there are extra precautions that have to be taken. There is extra cleaning that needs to be done. This can take away from our daily tasks. An extra daily charge can apply. Reach out for more details.

This can be a nervous experience for both your dog and owner. We want to ensure you are comfortable leaving your dog here. We highly recommend you come and take a tour. We want you to see our facility, ask your questions, and know what it will be like for your dog. You can also schedule daycare before your dog is boarding in order to be comfortable with our facility.

Required Items for Boarding: Food: Clients may bring food pre-portioned per serving or per day in individual bags, or provide a container with a secure lid and a measuring scoop. Vaccination Records: Current vaccination records must be submitted to us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Safety Gear: A collar and leash are required. Medications: All medications must be kept in separate containers and should not be mixed with food. Please utilize the designated medication administration set and ensure it is properly prepared. Comfort Items: You may include treats and two (2) toys that are suitable for unsupervised use. Prohibited Items: The following items are not permitted: Bedding that is excessively bulky or difficult to launder. Food and water bowls (we provide our own). Rawhides.

Yes, dogs must originate from the same household or be well-acquainted with one another (e.g., dogs belonging to family members).

We maintain a consistent routine for our guests, seven days a week: 7:00 am: Breakfast 7:30 am – 10:00 am: Morning Playtime 10:30 am – 2:00 pm: Midday Rest 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Afternoon Playtime 4:00 pm: PM Feeding 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm: Evening Playtime 6:30 pm: Bedtime

Closed (No Drop-offs or Pick-ups for Boarding or Daycare): July 4th Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New  Years Day Morning  Limited Hours for Boarding Only (No Daycare): 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Boarding drop-offs and pick-ups only. Fees Include:​ Pricing and Services Late Check-Out/Outside-Hours Pick-Up Fee: A $35 fee applies for late check-outs or pick-ups outside of our regular operating hours. Baths: Baths are available for $15. Complimentary Bath: A free bath is included with stays of 7 nights or longer. Forgot/Ran Out of Food Fee: A $20 fee will be charged if food is forgotten or runs out during the stay. Grooming Services: Please note that we do not offer any grooming services. Drop Off Information: Drop off  and Pick up is Monday – Friday  7:00a.m. – 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.   Drop off  and Pick up Saturday 7:00-10:00 ONLY  Drop off  and Pick up Sunday 4:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. ONLY Pick-up Times & Late Pick-up Policy: Early drop- off and Late pick-up options are available with pre-approval from the owner for an additional $35 fee added to your stay, excluding Holidays.Drop-off and Pick-up Hours Early Drop-off and Late Pick-up Policy Early drop-off or late pick-up options are available upon pre-approval from the owner. A $35 fee will be added to your stay for this service. This option is not available on Holidays.
